Stavanger is a town and a region in South Western Norway - well known for it's oil industry. However, it is also lovely to visit as a tourist due to it's high degree of 18th and 19th century wooden houses at it's centre, creating an intimate and welcoming village feel. Of course, with this comes lovely old cathedrals, museums, markets and cobblestone streets.

Settle into your hotel and then head out to enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely town. Please request a lunch pack for your early start next morning.

Experience the majesty of Lysefjord with a guided hike to Kjerag, where you can dare to stand on the iconic boulder and marvel at breathtaking views. The hike features the unique Kjerag Bolt, a glacial deposit suspended between two rocks, and offers awe-inspiring vistas over Lysefjord. You might even witness BASE jumpers in action.

The hike covers 4.5 km each way, taking 2-3 hours each way, and is rated moderate to difficult. Starting and finishing at Eagle’s Nest, the trail ranges from 641 m to 1,020 m above sea level. The well-signposted trail includes chain railings for safety on steep sections and is suitable for experienced hikers in good physical condition.Hikers should wear hiking boots, bring warm, windproof, and waterproof clothing, and carry refillable water containers and their own lunch.

Pickup is between 7:00-7:15 AM from your accommodation, with a 2.5-hour drive from Stavanger to Eagle’s Nest. After reaching the Kjerag plateau, enjoy the views, take photos, observe BASE jumpers, and have lunch before returning to Stavanger around 6:00 PM.

Join a guided sunrise hike to Pulpit Rock, one of Norway’s most popular and spectacular hikes, offering unobstructed views over Lysefjorden from a towering cliff-plateau. The hike covers 4 km each way, taking 2-3 hours each way, and is rated easy to moderate.

Starting and finishing at Preikestolen Lodge, the trail ranges from 270 m to 604 m above sea level. The well-marked trail may have slippery rocks in some areas, and while some hiking experience is desirable, it is not mandatory.

Hikers should wear hiking boots, bring warm, windproof, and waterproof clothing, and carry refillable water containers and their own Breakfast.

Pickup is at 1:00 AM from your accommodation. After a 2-hour hike to Pulpit Rock, watch the sunrise, take photos, and enjoy your packed Breakfast before returning to Stavanger around
08:00-10:00 AM.

Travel to Odda to prepare for your next hike. Recharge your batteries in this small picturesque town. If you want to explore the region, you can hire bikes, join a rib boating trip, walk along the glacier river or find a pleasant window sill to perch on so you can enjoy the scenery.

Today you will hike to Trolltunga - one of Norway's most spectacular sights. After breakfast, transfer to the start of the hike in Skjeggedal. The full hike takes around 7–9 hours, with a challenging first uphill stretch that leads to gentler terrain and stunning views.
Along the trail, enjoy several scenic viewpoints, snack breaks, and stories from your guide about local nature, history, and hidden gems, including the best photo and lunch spots. Eventually, you'll reach the iconic Trolltunga cliff, soaring 700m above the valley with views of Ringedalsvatnet Lake and Folgefonna Glacier.
After a memorable photo session, there's time to soak in the landscape before heading back.

Hike is recommended if you are in normal good shape and over 15 years of age. Please bring hiking clothes/shoes according to the forecasted weather, food for 10 hours, a 30-40 l backpack, and some extra warm/change of cloths in your backpack. Duration: 8-12 hours

After breakfast, drive from Odda to Rosendal, a lovely village, famous for its little castle, Norway's only Barony, surrounded by a beautiful renaissance garden and famous for its many cultural events. Return to Bergen, return your hire car and check into your centrally located hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
