Arrive in Oslo, the beautiful Norwegian capital by the Oslofjord. Make your own way to your centrally located hotel in the heart of Oslo, an easy direct express train ride away from the airport. The Norwegian capital has a great deal to offer for the observant traveller. We can recommend a walk around the centre of town to view the Parliament, the Castle, and the Harbour area.

After breakfast, head out to explore three distinct fjord islands: Bleikøya, a local's paradise with stunning city views; Lindøya, a picturesque village with colourful wooden cabins; and Hovedøya, home to historic ruins and cultural insights. Don't forget your swimsuit to take a refreshing dip in the Oslo fjord

Depending on the weather, is it time to hit the beach or a museum? The Viking and Kontiki museums are popular to visit for families or if you have teenagers, perhaps they would enjoy the thrill of ice climbing at the new SNO indoor ski centre.

This evening, we suggest a fjord sunset sailing trip or a 'engang grill' picnic in Frogner park.

Enjoy a peaceful walk through the forest to Sognsvann, a scenic lake just 20 minutes from central Oslo. Afterward, warm up by a cozy campfire, learn basic fire-making skills, hear local stories, and taste the iconic Norwegian hiking choclate. It’s a relaxed half-day adventure that captures the Norwegian way of enjoying nature.

In the afternoone experience a sauna on Oslo Fjord which offers a unique and relaxing experience with stunning views of the Oslofjord. Located on a stationary floating platform, the sauna provides a peaceful retreat where guests can unwind in the warmth of traditional Finnish sauna culture.
