You will go on a private royal tour of Copenhagen. Explore Copenhagen's Royal history with a visit to the city's three beautiful palaces and castles: Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Royal family; Christiansborg, the King's working palace; and Rosenborg Castle, a former Royal country getaway set in sweeping gardens.

At Christiansborg Palace, tour the lavish Royal Reception Rooms where State visits, galas, and Royal audiences are held. Visit the Throne Room, the King's Library, and the Great Hall, which features fascinating modern tapestries depicting over 1000 years of Danish history.

You will pick up your hire car in the morning at the car hire office in the centre of town setting off towards the nothern part of the Sjælland Island with map and GPS in hand. Driving in Denmark is not daunting at all, but is on the right hand side of the road. We suggest taking the scenic route up the coast for some breathtaking scenery.

Drive to Kokkedal, checking at Kokkedal Slot (Castle) is from 3pm.

Later in the evening enjoy dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Dragsholm Castle Gourmet.

After breakfast, the day is at your disposal to drive back to Copenhagen. The car hire is included for the full day. Visit the beautifully situated Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
